I’m Sarina, the creator and host of Jobtastic—the podcast that proves work is anything but boring.

With endless curiosity and a knack for uncovering fascinating stories, I’m on a mission to introduce kids to the amazing jobs they never knew existed. Whether I’m chatting with my own kids, sharing random facts with friends (did you know octopuses have three hearts?), or brainstorming podcast episodes, I love sparking moments of discovery that make people say, 'Wait, that’s a job?!'

As a kid, I thought the world of work revolved around the basics—teacher, doctor, or professional cereal taster (yes, that was a very real dream of mine). But now, I can’t help but wonder: 'If 10-year-old me had known that food scientists invent wild snack flavors, would my life have taken a different path?'

Instead, I found my dream job in publishing, spending nearly a decade at Random House getting paid to read books and share their stories—it was basically like hosting a podcast, but with less talking. Later, I leveled up my creativity in the video game industry, where I got to blend storytelling and innovation in unexpected ways.

Now, with Jobtastic, my goal is simple: to expand kids’ knowledge about how the world works and show them that their interests can lead to incredible possibilities.

When I’m not in front of a microphone, you’ll probably find me stepping on LEGO bricks or building something far more ambitious than my feet (or patience) can handle.
